There is a choice of beaches to explore with Musslewick and Marloes Sands less than 1 mile away, or join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and walk to West Dale beach, a trip from Martin's Haven to Skomer to see the puffins is not to be missed, while Dale is nearby popular with sailing enthusiasts, there is also an excellent village pub here serving food - The Griffin, Moorings restaurant and water sports hire centre, with its sheltered harbour, it is ideal spot for learning a new skill.
