Hopi Ear Candle with Facial Massage (45 Minutes)
Relieve a number of ear and sinus conditions with this unique treatment
Believed to aid a number of health conditions, Hopi Ear Candling with Facial Massage is a somewhat unfamiliar therapy despite being developed many years ago.
Using a hollow candle made from a mixture of cotton, beeswax and oils; Hopi Ear Candling is designed to draw out any impurities and ear wax trapped in your ear canal. This therapy can be used to target headaches, vertigo, sinus congestion, hay fever and more.
Lying on your side, the hollow candle is inserted into the ear (only as far as is comfortable) and then lit. The flame creates a vacuum / chimney effect through the hollow candle and the ear canal, which then encourages impurities to be drawn out of the ear up into the candle. You will hear the crackle of the fire and possibly some gentle popping as the flame releases the oils from the candle.
This treatment takes place at your holiday cottage and will last approximately 45 minutes, combining the candling of both ears followed by a soothing facial massage which complements the candling treatment helping to target sinus congestion.
